Coffee and Education

I learned today from the ProLiteracy Blog that the Ethiopian "coffee ceremony" is an integral social and cultural part of the Ethiopian life.  The NED, Nurture, Education, and development organization use this concept while education issues are discussed and coffee is served. The coffee ceremony is used as an education opportunity for those attending.Sounds like other countries could take this ceremony and possible use it in parent involvement activities in schools to educate parents in low socio-economic situations.
